Server Rules
These rules ensure a fair, safe, and enjoyable experience for all players. By playing on EvolvedWOTLK, you agree to follow these rules and our Terms of Service.
Important Notice
Violations of these rules may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid defense. All players are expected to read and understand these rules before playing.
Account Security & Responsibility
Keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
Account sharing is prohibited. Each account should be used by one person only.
Sharing accounts can lead to security issues and disputes.
Account trading is forbidden. Buying, selling, or trading accounts for any reason is strictly prohibited
and will result in permanent bans for all involved accounts.
High Severity
Use a valid email address. A working email may be required for account recovery and important notifications.
Fair Play & Exploits
No exploiting bugs or unintended mechanics. Exploiting bugs, glitches, or server issues to gain unfair advantages is strictly prohibited.
High Severity
Report bugs immediately. If you discover a bug or exploit, report it to staff instead of abusing it.
Bug reporters may be rewarded for responsible disclosure.
No bots, hacks, or automation. Use of third-party software, bots, hacks, macros, or any form of automation is not allowed.

No modified clients. Using modified game clients or tools that alter game files to gain advantages is prohibited.

No pathing or terrain abuse. Abusing pathing, terrain, or encounter mechanics to gain unfair advantages in PvE or PvP is prohibited.
No win-trading or boosting. Win-trading, arena boosting, or any form of match manipulation in PvP is prohibited.
Medium Severity
Player Conduct & Community
Be respectful. Treat all players with respect. Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks are not tolerated.
No hate speech or discrimination. Racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory language is strictly prohibited.
High Severity
No threats or harassment. Threatening other players, stalking, or persistent harassment will result in immediate action.

No impersonating staff. Impersonating staff members, GMs, or other authority figures is prohibited.

No spamming or disruptive chat. Excessive spamming, flooding chat, or disrupting conversations is not allowed.
Keep content appropriate. Sexually explicit, graphic, or otherwise inappropriate content is not allowed in chat or character names.
No advertising. Advertising other servers, websites, or services without permission is prohibited.
Economy & Trading
No real-money trading (RMT). Selling in-game gold, items, accounts, or services for real currency is strictly forbidden.

No buying with real money. Purchasing in-game currency, items, or services from third parties is prohibited.

No RMT advertising. Advertising third-party RMT services in-game or on our platforms is prohibited.

No scamming. Scamming other players through deception, fake trades, or abuse of mechanics is prohibited.

No market manipulation. Intentional market manipulation that harms server economy or stability may be acted upon by staff.
Fair trading practices. All trades should be conducted fairly. Exploiting trade windows or mechanics is prohibited.
Gameplay Rules
No griefing. Griefing players through intentional wipe mechanics, reset abuse, or sabotage is not allowed.
Respect loot rules. Ninja-looting or intentionally violating agreed-upon loot rules may result in penalties.
Fair PvP. Engage in PvP fairly. Exploiting mechanics, win-trading, or manipulating battlegrounds is prohibited.
Respect raid/dungeon etiquette. Follow group leader instructions and respect established loot systems.
No kill stealing. Intentionally stealing kills or nodes from other players is considered rude and may be penalized.
Naming Policy
Use appropriate names. Character names must be appropriate and lore-friendly to the World of Warcraft universe.
No offensive names. Names that are offensive, racist, sexually explicit, or contain hate speech are not allowed.
High Severity
No impersonation. Names that impersonate staff, GMs, or well-known players are not allowed.
No special characters abuse. Excessive use of special characters or numbers to create confusing or inappropriate names is prohibited.
Name changes. Staff may require a name change at any time if a name violates these policies. No compensation will be provided.
Server Integrity & Security
No DDoS or server attacks. Attempting to DDoS, disrupt, or harm the server in any way is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
High Severity
No unauthorized access. Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the website, database, or server files is prohibited.

No reverse engineering. Reverse-engineering, tampering with, or attempting to modify server files is prohibited.

No data mining. Unauthorized data mining, scraping, or collection of server data is prohibited.
Enforcement & Appeals
Staff decisions are final. We reserve the right to interpret and enforce rules as we see fit to maintain a healthy community.
Progressive discipline. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity and history.
Appeals process. If you believe you were wrongly penalized, you may submit an appeal through our support system or Discord.
Repeated violations. Repeated violations will result in increasingly severe penalties, up to and including permanent bans.
Investigation rights. Staff may investigate suspicious activity, including reviewing chat logs and gameplay data, to enforce these rules.
